1 Bomber 3 Way

Resolutions are for the naive so this year I have goals. And among them blogging consistently is on the top of my list. And considering the amount of photo shoots I do on a weekend-ly basis, this goal is totes achievable! Speaking of goals, is Mumbai competing with Delhi when it comes to cold? This is the coldest I have found Mumbai weather to be in 7 years! But I believe there’s nothing a bomber jacket can’t handle! I got this velvet bomber from the good folks over at Redesyn and we have been inseparable ever since. Tracks, skirts or shorts no matter what you prefer – here’s how you can style any bomber like a total fashion fleeka a.k.a chica who is on fleek (yes, I will take all the credit of making this term up!).

1. Track On Some Monochrome Magic

Kicks: Adidas Superstars | Tracks: Thrifted | Black Bralette: Zivame | Necklace: Anupama Dayal | Photography: Vincent King

A pair of comfy tracks and jacket has got to be the current fave of all the celebs from Khloe Kardashian to our desi doll Jacqueline Fernandez. Trust me when I say this, This is also the combo the models wear off-duty no matter which fashion week we’re talking about. So this staple look was a no brainer. I added my superstars and a cute cloth necklace and it made me feel like I am Kanye’s hommie! (Yeah, I made that bitch famous!)

2. Swag With Some Shorts

Block Heels: Topshop | Swag Socks: Forever 21 | Denims: Levis | Crochet Cover-Up: Thrifted | Hamza Chain: Hippieque | Photography: Vincent King

This is my favourite look mostly because of my bias of being a shorts gal all the way. Currently I am also obsessed with cover-ups especially when I discovered the secret – they are not just for the beach! It only took a while to hunt down my swag-licious socks to go with the street-chic look and we’re back in business!

3. Skirt Up The Shirt

Kicks: Adidas Superstars | Skirt: Beneton | Boyfriend Shirt: It’s Boyfriend’s! | Tank: Koovs | Peach Cuff: Thrifted | Tote: H&M | Photography: Vincent King

Apparently a crisp white shirt looks even better when layered under any jacket. The proof is right in front of you! That’s how you spice up the styling for a simple tank and skirt combo. I wouldn’t recommend layering if you have a boxy figure because it might not suit you. But a cheat sheet to that is ‘confidence’ and there’s nothing you can’t pull off no matter what size or shape you are! So go forth and experiment with your favourite bomber, I’d love to see some pictures so tag me!

Festive Season Is The Reason

Happy Diwali Happy Diwali f4 Happy Diwali Happy Diwali Happy Diwali

There is really no festival like Diwali. The festival not only illuminates our home but also showers us with gifts, relatives (who make time to come and visit) and loads of sweets (did I mention my love for kheer?). To dress up for so much fun is another task! Isn’t it? So out came my favourite anarkali. I know that we’re supposed to wear something new on this day but the new things I bought were far away from anything traditional (blame it on H&M!).

So this look is all about the regal vibes. Since the outfit in itself is so dressy with all the different kinds of work on it, I chose to go with just a pair of statement jhumkas. That’s all the accessory this look needed! A pair of my current favourite footwear (yes, I’m obsessed with juttis!) completed the look with ease.

So share with me how you celebrate Diwali and most importantly, what did you wear?!

Since we’re about to dive into the festive season (not to mention the grand wedding season) here are some ethnic inspiration you can grab.

1. All shine

2. Embellished elegance

3. Busy prints for the win

4. The cape story

5. Sari not sorry

6. All-white everything!

When In Doubt, Denim It Out!

Denim it out Denim it out Denim it out Denim it out Denim it out Denim it out

Photography by Vincent King | Sexy Model Credits : Goofy ‘The Golden Retriever’
Shoes: Adidas Originals Superstars | Distressed denims: Thrifted | Plaid singlet: H&M | Denim dacket: Asos| Choker: Forever21

If you find a girl who lives in her jeans then just marry her! I’d like to believe that girls who opt for denims over anything else are more composed in life. They have that stability with a hint of adventure that makes them irresistible. Now before you think this is a ‘paid’ blog post for Levi’s or diesel, lemme say NO, it’s not! Denims are a state of mind, a beautiful, adventurous and wild state of mind that every girl should be in.

With the denim-on-denim trend hitting the streets since a while now, I couldn’t think of a cooler go-to style! So I thought let me put together a fundamental denim-on-denim look that can be worn for picnic, shopping, to friend’s house, movies… basically anywhere!

All you need-

1) Well fitted pair of denims (the more distressed the better!)
2) A plaid shirt/ singlet (because plaid is another chic trend that is going no where any time soon)
3) A white pair of sneakers (what’s better than the Adidas Originals superstar?)
4) A black choker ( Again a HUGE trend right now!)
5) Denim state of mind!

This is pretty much the simplest look to nail all the current trends. Even Mr.Goofy approves! (Yes, I am aware that my dog looks cuter than me) So hope you’ll go back to your throwback days and motivate yourself to fit into your favourite pair of jeans because – when in doubt, just denim it out!

Molten Musings

Molten Musings Molten Musings Molten Musings Molten Musings

Top: Zara | Charm choker: Hippieque | Leather sling: Zara | Skirt: Thrift shop | Sneakers: Adidas Originals

I am a huge fan of cinching silhouettes as I believe in the notion – if you got it, you flaunt it! But sometimes, it’s good to slip into something loose and comfortable. This post was shot during Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort ’16 when I needed all the comfort (and fashion) in the world to survive the fashion frenzy around me. Cold shoulder tops are all the rage right now and that’s what instantly came to my mind while dressing up for the day. This glazed skirt featuring a thigh-high slit, had been lying in my closet since ages, as it’s not exactly a number you’d wear on a normal day (chances of getting a comment as ‘OTT’ would be higher than someone appreciating it!) So LFW was my only shot and I took it! I accessorised it with a black leather sling bag and a pair of wedged Adidas Originals. A charmed statement choker, which I had made a while back, brought a little boho touch to the look.

This look made me a complete head turner, sitting first row for some stunning shows that day. While most of you are already a pro at styling the cold shoulder trend, here are couple of tips to keep in mind (because why the hell not!)

1. Layer it with some amazing baubles

2. Keep it casual with a good pair of denims

3. Interesting back is a huge plus point

4. Keep it preppy with a lovely print!

So go on and have some fun with the cold shoulder trend and always remember…

The world is your runway and you’re a supermodel!
